I just checked out a synopsis of this upcoming movie on http://www.pluggedinonline.com under the "This week only" section. It is very disturbing! Please read it for yourself. These are books we need to keep our kids away from. Even more so, my fear is they will be embraced in public schools. Whether that affects you or not, please pray for those children's safety and protection from the lies of these books.
Another huge concern is about Oprah's "mission" to innoculate the world(she has millions if not billions of fans, as you know) with her new "new age" following. I received another disturbing email about this. I hope you got it and if so, I am sure were equally disturbed. WHAT IS THIS WORLD COMING TO??? I am sure it is the beginning of the end. Great for us christians, but not so great for anyone else. Anyway, her plan is to have daily "readings" under this new age idea, which ultimately and subtly can turn who knows how many from the TRUTH, while being disguised as the truth. Lord God, please help us and have mercy on us!
Well, as you can tell my heart is heavy and serious tonight, but I must leave you with hope. As Jesus himself said, "In this world you will have tribulation, but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world." Hallelujah!

I had recieved an email about the movie you listed and you are right...stay away from the books. Hopefully they will not be embraced by the schools. We will certainly be praying for that.
I don't know of the email about Oprah but daily reading concern me too. Some people seem to follow her and take all she has to say as gospel.
I also had received the e-mail about the movie but not about Oprah. Both of these are great reminders to me to be faithful in telling others about Jesus and not being afraid to proclaim the truth. I am so thankful to have friends who support each other in our efforts to do what is right!
